A historic shopping arcade with glass roofs, gallery bridges and a fountain.

The story of this place

The new Upper Trading Rows opened in 1893. Alexander Pomerantsev’s design connected the shops with glazed galleries.

Outside, the building forms part of Red Square. Inside, daylight and upper-level bridges set the character. Pause at the fountain to look along the three arcades.
