A museum in former factory buildings tells the story of Kolomna’s apple pastila.

The story of this place

The Chuprikov merchant family operated a factory in the old trading quarter in the 19th century. Apple pastila was made by whipping and drying fruit purée.

The museum shows how the factory operated. Guided sessions introduce the methods and offer tastings of different varieties of pastila.
